MPC Giant - MPC Gigante

This is the testing of my first project for my MA Design for Interactive Media course at Middlesex University. The idea is to build a giant MPC and play Baile Funk through your feet. I used pressure pads and an Ipac board to connect them to my computer using Ableton Live.

Sem Nostalgia - Lucas Santtana

Por que vc deve ouvir e baixar o Sem Nostalgia do Lucas Santtana? Simplesmente porque é o melhor disco brasileiro do ano, possivelmente também da década. No disco ele usou, e muito bem usado, a cultura do mashup/copypaste/sampler apenas com sons de violão e voz. Não bastasse historicamente o disco quebrar as barreiras do "voz e violão", as músicas são lindíssimas. Com muita honra participei da faixa "O violão de Mario Bross". O Lucas foi no meu ex-estúdio com um monte de trechos sampleados de violões (Baden Powell, Novos Baianos, Dorival, ...), juntos montamos a música e tocamos "ao vivo" na minha MPC. Foi demais! Esse disco, definitivamente, é um divisor de águas da música popular brasileira.
